TECHNOLOGIES
TENSIONER
This padel racket model is built using our new “Tensioner” mold. This mold was precision-engineered to enhance padel performance, setting new standards for innovation in both the amateur and professional padel worlds.
The mold is instantly eye-catching, distinguished by numerous “arms” or tensioners—resembling structural beams—positioned around the lower-mid section and the heart of the racket. These tensioners represent the mold’s core technology and give the “Tensioner” model its name.
Greater Frame Structural Integrity
The functional purpose of these lateral tensioners is to provide incredible solidity and strength to the area of the racket most stressed during high-level, intense play. They significantly reduce tubular flex in the racket’s most critical zones.
Reduced Air Resistance
Furthermore, the entire Tensioner mold—including the placement of the tensioners themselves—has been meticulously studied and designed to minimize air resistance and improve aerodynamics. This dramatically reduces the perceived weight of the racket when executing any movement or technique during play.
STABILIZER
Another notable feature is the heart of this SAIOR HyperRacket. A stabilizer designed using the same Tensioner technology has been added to this section, visible through the placement of two large tensioners in the center. As previously mentioned, these enhance the racket’s rigidity and aerodynamics. However, the primary design objective is to achieve perfect balance by shifting weight toward this central point, thereby significantly reducing “head-heaviness” or excess weight in the upper part (the head) of the racket. Furthermore, because it is part of the mold itself rather than an add-on component, the racket remains lighter, and vibrations typically caused by such attachments are eliminated. It also removes the risk of parts detaching from the racket during play.
ANATOMICAL GRIP BRIDGE – AGB
We can also observe that the profile of the Tensioner mold is higher than usual in the lower section—closest to the handle. SAIOR designed it this way to facilitate and improve comfort when using a two-handed grip, a technique frequently employed for backhand shots. Additionally, this design makes the padel racket more comfortable to hold in the ready or receiving position.
ADAPTATIVE HOLE DISTRIBUTION – AHD
SAIOR has incorporated a drilling pattern adapted to the specific shape of the Tensioner Shoma mold. This results in greater core flex and force distribution across the hitting surface, as well as increased durability. Furthermore, this design maximizes the sweet spot (creating a “spring” or “arrow” effect) and enhances shot sensitivity and control.
FULL GRIP FACE
Following a trend seen in competitor models, SAIOR has added a hexagonal texture to the hitting surface of this model. Covering the entire impact zone, this texture improves ball grip upon contact, allowing for more effective spin on shots.
DUAL BRIDGE
As with its predecessor, the SK-Libur, SAIOR has retained the “Dual Bridge” technology in the racket’s throat area. However, the design has been improved with significantly thicker tubes than those found on the SK-Libur, further enhancing structural solidity and minimizing vibration transmission to the handle.
CONSTRUCTION
FULL SK CARBON
As is standard across all SAIOR models, this racket is constructed entirely using the highest-quality SK Carbon available on the market. This type of construction ensures greater durability during prolonged play and resilience against weather fluctuations—such as high or low temperatures—that might otherwise compromise a racket’s performance and shot effectiveness.
HIGH EVA MEMORY
For the Tensioner Shoma SR model, SAIOR has opted for a single, soft-density, high-memory rubber core, developed exclusively for SAIOR padel rackets. Thanks to its soft density, this rubber pairs perfectly with the carbon framework—which typically stiffens the racket—to deliver excellent control and feel without sacrificing ball output, resulting in a racket that is easy to handle, even for amateur players.
HIGH ELASTICITY EPOXY
To complete the racket assembly—and given the complexity of the designs and molds involved—a specialized epoxy resin has been developed for SAIOR. This resin ensures optimal bonding and elasticity between the materials.
